Ride into History!
Take a bike tour along coastal dunes, where you will discover the ancient rural landscape of Puglia. The ancient road, built by Emperor Trajan, is lined with dry-stone walls and centuries-old olive trees that protrude like odd-shaped monuments that contrast with the red earth and golden grain fields.
The tour will retrace the footsteps of glorious emperors, brave knights and bloodthirsty crusaders who traveled along Via Traiana throughout history. Along the way, you will experience Puglia’s distant and near past through old farmhouses and picturesque country houses.
One highlight of the tour is the dolmen of Montalbano, a megalith likely built thousands of years ago during the bronze age.
Our bike tour will end up facing crystal clear sea of the Adriatic coast under a majestic Aragonese watchtower.
