Discover the green gold of Puglia!
Visiting a traditional olive oil mill, we will learn about the traditional method of olive oil process, which uses granite millstones, as well as the modern processing system. We will taste different extra virgin olive oils produced by an olive oil farm in the heart of the wonderful Itria Valley.
It would be impossible to imagine the Apulian landscape without its 60 million olive trees. Since the Messapian period (XVIII century bC), the production of olive oil has played a leading role in the life of the region to the point that today, the olive tree is the official symbol of Puglia!
